No. VIN’s pledge to you: Your data is yours. We will never sell your data or use it for marketing. You control the use of your data — to help you, your practice, and your patients, or to help advance veterinary medical knowledge.
Depending on the internet speed at your practice, we can sync your data as frequently as hourly, or nightly if needed. Updated data will display in your VetTools program shortly after your data has synced.
No contract. Start any time, end any time.
After a brief setup appointment with you or a trusted staff member, it typically takes us 1-2 weeks to import and map your data. If you have a large database, we may ask you to copy it and send it to us on a hard drive provided by us. Once your data is imported and mapped, we will contact you to schedule a live online training session with you and your team members. After this, your VetTools service will be live!
Yes, we offer weekly open training sessions, typically mid-day. Anyone is welcome to attend, but if you can’t make it, we are happy to arrange additional private training sessions as needed for your practice.
We are part of the Veterinary Information Network (VIN®) Family of Brands, started in 1991 and is home to over 100,000 colleagues. The current suite of services was started in 2006 as VetVision, co-founded by Paul Pion and John Dean. VINx became part of the VIN family of services January 2014, and in 2021 the company name changed from VINx to VIN® Practice Communications.
VetTools service is currently fully integrated with AVImark, Cornerstone, Intravet, ImproMed Infinity, VIA and Pulse (formerly eVetPractice). If you’re not using one of these software systems, please contact us anyway, We’ll be happy to get in touch if we can offer you full service in the future.
